PicoWay vs Pro 1 Pico
Compare 1064 and 532 nm energy ranges, twin-pulse delivery and fractional options.
Read the detailed comparisonWhat does the Pro 1 Pico actually offer? Explore documented picosecond settings, pulse-delivery technologies, handpiece options and direct links to sourced comparisons with leading laser platforms.
Pro 1 Pico combines native 1064 nm Nd:YAG technology and frequency-doubled 532 nm delivery with additional colour-specific dye handpieces. Four documented Standard/PTP picosecond configurations provide selectable energy ranges for different pigment and treatment priorities.
| Wavelength | Standard picosecond | PTP twin pulse |
|---|---|---|
| 1064 nm | 80–800 mJ | 80–1,600 mJ |
| 532 nm | 40–400 mJ | 40–800 mJ |
Figures are the device's console-selectable energy settings documented from touchscreen photographs (October 2026), not independent measurements of delivered optical power. PTP totals are the displayed energy for a two-pulse setting and should not be interpreted as individual pulse energies. Selectable settings are not recommended treatment parameters.

Rapid-fire picosecond pulse stacking, expanding the platform's dermal and skin-quality delivery options.
Thermal Nd:YAG delivery complements the picosecond modes for selected vascular and hair-reduction protocols.
Round, square and honeycomb patterns broaden the options for fractional skin-quality and texture protocols. See PicoMatrix handpieces.
Additional wavelength options for selected resistant colours in tattoos and permanent makeup, depending on the supplied configuration.
Equipment configuration, clinical onboarding, operator training and service arrangements can be reviewed as part of a purchase proposal.
Laser Equipment Global publishes detailed buyer comparisons drawing on the competing manufacturers' own literature. These guides distinguish wavelengths, pulse duration, selected energy and optional handpieces; different technologies are not assumed clinically equivalent.

Equipment buyers should compare a laser using more than the headline millijoule figure. Pulse duration, spot geometry, wavelength, beam profile, delivery method, available accessories, regulatory indications and after-sales support all matter.
1. Primary Pro 1 Pico specification reference: Technology overview, fractional handpiece details and the displayed core mode settings above.
2. Independent competitor documents: manufacturer manuals, brochures and product pages linked from the six comparison guides.
3. Clinical evidence: published research can explain wavelength and delivery approaches, but results obtained using other devices should not be represented as Pro 1 Pico-specific clinical outcomes.
4. Purchaser documentation: complete spot-size energy and fluence matrices, configuration details and operator guidance are available to purchasers; they are intentionally not published on this page.
1064 nm native Nd:YAG and frequency-doubled 532 nm, with additional 585 nm and 650 nm dye handpiece options.
The console permits 80–1,600 mJ at 1064 nm and 40–800 mJ at 532 nm. Those are dual-pulse programmed settings, not individual-pulse output measurements.
No. Compare specifications at matching wavelengths and equivalent delivery configurations. Pulse duration, beam profile, frequency, spot size and independently verified optical output can change how to interpret headline figures.
Detailed spot-size performance tables are retained in purchaser technical documentation, not the public marketing website.
